True Story

So I am up super late...insomnia, i wasn't kidding! Anyway, I am writing my dedication for my GRADUATION and they only give me 75 fuckin words. So here I am trying to jam everything into 4 little lines on this document and I finally stop and am like ok, I will write whatever comes out and take what I like from there.

Anyway, I wrote to my parents first and realized I just wanted to dedicate my graduation/degree to my parents. They only gave birth/raised me/are still supporting me and stuff. The least I could do is give them 75 words in my dedication for Latino Grad right?

So BFFS, BUDDIES, MEAN GIRLS:

Know that you were in my original dedication, the one that left my parents with two sentences.  Know that I am grateful to have you in my life.  Seriously, what would I do without you?

I was using words like best friends, buddies/Davis friends, because I only had 75 words but know that I meant Lizbeth, Nayeli, Adrian, Jesus, Aubrey, Krista, Tiffany, Cristina, Cinthia, Vicky P, all the girls in the interest group, anyone else I am missing because it is 4am afterall. Know that I love you and that you guys in some way or another helped me get my degree.

You guys helped me destress when I was going crazy, you helped me study, you gave me the 411 about Davis stuff, you were there to see me cry (and you know I dont like crying in front of people!), you gave me smiles and hugs, you got me motivated about school, you listened to me about my goals and dreams, you shared your wisdom with me, we bonded about parents/life/family/boys, you got me drunk!!! HAHA jk, but seriously...you took care of me when I was drunk, you listened to me complain about work/internship/my professors/classes, etc. You guys are amazing and you better be in my life always. Cuz from my side, I will never let you go. :) Thank You Thank You for being there for me, Thank you for being my friend, and know that I love you always.   

There will probably be another post like this when I have had a full night's sleep.

5 Things That I Heart Right Now

Hey! This is a new thing I am trying to do so I can actually start posting on this thing. After all, Spring/ Summer is my favorite time of year so I will have plenty to write about.  I decided I want to start posting 5 things that I am loving at the moment, every Tuesday because I love to share and hey, you might be into the same things and we will be like Oh snap we got something in common. Lol.

So here are my FIVE THINGS I HEART RIGHT NOW:

 1. Spring Cleaning! It can be tedious but finding all this lost/old stuff is fun. I am a pack rack to the fullest and I have been throwing/giving things away like never before. The experience is actually freeing. STILL the stuff I have accumulated in the past 2 years at Davis is not going to fit in my tinier-by-the-day room. Is it possible for rooms to shrink?

2. My niece Monica. I hadn’t seen her in what seems like forever-since she moved to Indiana. So now catching up with my 15 year old niece is nice. We have way too much in common. Like um, she takes tons of pictures of herself and we all know I had that problem in high school. Lol. Anyway, it is nice to have her back.

3. Painting people’s nails.
 As my niece and broomie Cinthia Duarte will tell you, I heart painting people’s nails. What is even better is that I am good at it. It is just so therapeutic doing people’s nails and I get all hairstylist on everyone. So, how you been girl? How’s the boyfriend? How’s the family? Who cheated on who? And WHO’s pregnant? Haha you know!

4. Self improvement. Cuz you know, I deserve it. I am trying to think nothing but positive thoughts and I bought myself Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred DVD cuz that girl can make me sweat like no other. I can do this people!! And I am going to struggle but it’s okay.

5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICTOR!! My lil bro Victor turns 19 today and I heart him very very much as you all know.

DAVIS Fall Quarter.

Now that I am practically on Winter Break I'll catch you up on my Fall Quarter at UCD.
(I dont remember in what order this all happened so um yeah.)

1. Cal v. Davis Tailgate in Berkeley. Yeah Cal won by HELLA. :(2. I went to the DC for my first time. Thank you Freshmen takes me. :)

3. Visited my people at Berkeley. Adrian, Edgar and Jesus were there too but these are my girls. :)

4. The Interested Ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority at UC Davis had a few events.

5. Buddy #3 turned 22 on the 22nd :6. Had a Roomie Reunion with Tiff in SF. Krista was supposed to be there too pero... :/
7. I walked in the Sac Breast Cancer Walk. It felt rude to just walk around with a shirt that said I liked my boobies lol. So I like yours too ;)

8. Mujeres Ayudando La Raza retreat :) First time in Lake Tahoe!

Lots of other stuff happened too but I don't have a camera so most of these pics I got from other people. lol. I already showed you what my Halloween was like. :) Can't wait till Winter Quarter!!
