5 Things :)

1. Green Tea: where have you been all my life green tea?? It's funny how you can think something tastes gross for most of your life and then one day boom-it's delicious!. I drink it plain.

2. Thinspos on Tumblr: so I want to lose some lbs for my graduation and the girls who have "thinspos/fitspos" have great ideas, tips, plus are relatable since we all have one thing in common. :) It's where I get my inspiration.

3. Nook Color: fabulous- countless books on this thing, internet, music, games, magazines, files, pdf, and it will soon have an app store. I am in heaven. :)

4. Dancing: great work out plus its lots of fun. I dance 4 days a week for about 2 hours. Love.

5. Kid Cudi + Wiz Khalifa: If you've been in my car anywhere from March through April you know this is all I've been listening to in the car. Finally have Kid Cudi's songs on my ipod so I listen to him more now. And in June my bro and I are gonna see Wiz in SF!!! :D

True Story

So I am up super late...insomnia, i wasn't kidding! Anyway, I am writing my dedication for my GRADUATION and they only give me 75 fuckin words. So here I am trying to jam everything into 4 little lines on this document and I finally stop and am like ok, I will write whatever comes out and take what I like from there.

Anyway, I wrote to my parents first and realized I just wanted to dedicate my graduation/degree to my parents. They only gave birth/raised me/are still supporting me and stuff. The least I could do is give them 75 words in my dedication for Latino Grad right?

So BFFS, BUDDIES, MEAN GIRLS:

Know that you were in my original dedication, the one that left my parents with two sentences.  Know that I am grateful to have you in my life.  Seriously, what would I do without you?

I was using words like best friends, buddies/Davis friends, because I only had 75 words but know that I meant Lizbeth, Nayeli, Adrian, Jesus, Aubrey, Krista, Tiffany, Cristina, Cinthia, Vicky P, all the girls in the interest group, anyone else I am missing because it is 4am afterall. Know that I love you and that you guys in some way or another helped me get my degree.

You guys helped me destress when I was going crazy, you helped me study, you gave me the 411 about Davis stuff, you were there to see me cry (and you know I dont like crying in front of people!), you gave me smiles and hugs, you got me motivated about school, you listened to me about my goals and dreams, you shared your wisdom with me, we bonded about parents/life/family/boys, you got me drunk!!! HAHA jk, but seriously...you took care of me when I was drunk, you listened to me complain about work/internship/my professors/classes, etc. You guys are amazing and you better be in my life always. Cuz from my side, I will never let you go. :) Thank You Thank You for being there for me, Thank you for being my friend, and know that I love you always.   
There will probably be another post like this when I have had a full night's sleep.

When Sucky Things Happen

Still doing my 5 things.  Only this week they will be 5 things I heart to do when sucky things happen. These are things that always help me feel better when I am having a bad day.

1. Cry it out: cuz sometimes all you need is a good cry.
2. Venting to a best friend/ having them drive all the way from Sonoma to Napa just to have them realize that you are in Davis and you realizing that they were in Sonoma. Seriously, like how did that happen?
3. Watching a super cheesy chick flick: And I am talking about the kind that you know whats going to happen before you even start the movie.  Cuz i don't need anymore problems like trying to figure out who the killer is or getting depressed when something doesn't go right in the movie.  And I dislike open endings (when I am feeling blue). Basically, I don't like to think.
4. Pigging out: Cuz for some reason chocolate chip cookies and something carbonated always tastes good to me when I am down.
5. Dancing in front of a mirror: Cuz then I focus on what a big dork I look like and I forget whatever is making me all sad n stuff.

Finally, I would just like to say that there is a very obvious one missing from the list. You can probably figure it out. :)

5 Things :)

1. All seasons of The Office are available to watch instantly through Netflix! J Guess what I have been doing with my spare time? Hehe.
2. How much free time I have because it permits me to watch all my shows, workout, go on mini road trips, visit Lizbeth & Nayeli and STUDY more. J The only downside is that I don’t have a job which means I don’t have money.
3. The new Latin Music Legend Stamps. Sure, everyone on there is awesome but my no doubt favorite stamp is the SELENA stamp!!! About damn time she has her own stamp!
4. Walking for a cause. I walked in Relay for Life this past weekend and it felt great getting to know my lovely Mujeres while doing something to get out awareness. Unfortunately most college students are broke nowadays so I was only able to collect $25 but if you want to donate you still can! Just let me know.

5. The instrumental version of Someone Like You by Adele. I love her song because I feel like everyone at some point of their lives have felt like that. Her songs in general are so honest and relatable. She is starting to be my new Amy. Anyway, I have been practicing! Maybe once day I will have the courage to post a video. You never know lol.

Starting the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred today :)

 Today I am starting the 30 Day Shred. :)
There are 3 levels of Jillian's shred and each are 20 minutes each.  Each level has a 2 minute warm-up, Three 6-minute circuits featuring Jillian's 3-2-1 Interval System consisting of 3 minutes of Strength, 2 minutes of Cardio and 1 minute of abs, plus 2 minutes of cool down. All I need are 5 pound dumbbells and a mat. You are suppose to spend on 10 days on each level so the first 10 days i will be doing level one, the next ten days level two and by the final 10 days I should be on level three. I will fill you in on my experience soon. Wish me luck!

5 Things I Heart

1. $5 Movies at Walmart: One pit stop at Walmart with my friends led to me buying 6 movies from their $5 section. I bought House Bunny,She's the Man, The Lake House and the other films were from my childhood. :)


2. "The writer must write what he has to say, not speak it" - Ernest Hemingway. This is my new box that I bought at Barnes & Nobel. Double heart. :)
 3. Walks outdoors: Love the trees, the clean air, the not to harsh sun this time of year.  Birds are chirping, kids are playing at the parks. Easy way for exercise and clarity.

4. Britney Spear's New CD Femme Fatal: I have had it on repeat since I got it. :) :) My Fav songs are Till the World Ends and Inside Out

5. Where you at? off of Jennifer Hudson's new album "I Remember Me": Jennifer is great at telling it like it is.
