I recently watched the series finale of Ugly Betty and it was a bit disappointing. I know that they originally were going to have 2 more episodes left and they were cut off so they had to rush everything together but it was not fair for the fans. There were no explanations for things.

Although I did not think that they would make Daniel fall in love with her I was not totally surprised when he did at the end because the original Betty La Fea was like that, as well as the Mexican version. Still, I was hoping they would not go that route this time around. Nevertheless, they make a cute couple.

I thought it was funny that her and her family wanted to throw Justin a Coming Out party. That made me lol for sure. I was glad Amanda finally found her dad and it was nice to know that everything with the Meads would turn out fine. I was even glad that Willie got to finally be in charge of MODE because she really deserved it. She had worked her ass of for the magazine and did anything she could to get what she wanted.

I really wish Ugly Betty was not cancelled but it was. :( boo. Perez said there might be a movie coming out and I hope it is true!! I would go watch that movie for sure. I love Ugly Betty and I am so sad it ended but I knew it would die eventually right? All good shows come to an end...

Picnic Day v. Picnic Night

This Saturday was Picnic Day here at UCD and I had been looking forward to it for weeks! I ate some yummy food, saw a few performances, saw that doggie race thing and was having fun kiiiiinda. Unfortunately I did not feel 100% that great. Still things seemed to get better when my besties from Napa, Lizbeth and Adrian, came to town. They watched my Gospel Choir performance which sucked (sorry if you were there) and then we went to have some much needed sushi (because I hadn't eaten all day and was at "about to pass out" status.) We then did some much needed drinking and partying. Of course I hung out with my girls Yeni, Marlene, Cinthia, Cristina, and Rosalba too. I love those girls. :) Hope you had a wonderful Picnic Day too.

Aura Dione

Aura Dione is a Danish singer-songwriter. She was born in Denmark to a mother of Faroese and French descent and a father from the northern part of Jutland but with Spanish heritage. She released an album named Columbine which is really good. Check her out. Shes beautiful and has a nice voice. Below is a video of her singing her single "Something From Nothing" live. I am loving my English classes. I am taking Enl 117: Shakespeare, Enl 113: Chaucer Canterbury Tales, and Enl 10B Literatures in English II: 1700-1900. I was taking Ita 09 but i had to drop it. Italian wasn't fun anymore. :(

Anyway, like I was saying I went out with my roomies on Wednesday. We went to the Grad for an XPO party. It was a lot of fun. I drove and did not drink. Well I did end up having ONE AMF but thats it lol. Or maybe a Jager bomb? haha I cant remember.

On Thursday was the Lambda Noche de Travesuras party. That was fun too. :) All my girls were there and of course my buddies. :) My friend Jesus came too from Berekely so I was happy. It was the first time I had seen him in Davis. We def made it an AMF night. :) At midnight my friend, Lupita turned 21. This was a great way to celebrate.

The next day, Friday, we all went to the Elephant Bar for her bday dinner. I didn't really like their food or alcoholic beverages ( i just had water). We came back to the apartment and had a few margaritas and jager bombs. Yummy. lol. JoJo was playing Usher songs which made me so so happy. lol.

On Saturday my buddy Cristina and I went to Relay 4 Life and walked some laps. Then we went to Target.
Great week.

Last night was a crazy ass night. Lets just say I was NOT classy, right ad? haha. I just had a fun night out with my Davis girls. We went to Kets. It was def an AMF night. Next time can i not be sick the next morning and miss class? That would be great. lol
